Scope
What is carried out at Jubail
The processes below are performed in our own workshop. Where a scope calls on partner capacity, TurboDyne holds the contract and delivers from Jubail.
Manufacturing
Precision machining, gear cutting and grinding, heavy turning and boring for blades, diaphragms, seals, bearings, gears, pinions and shafts, to drawing or from a sample component.
Reverse engineering
Geometry captured by 3D laser scanning and contact metrology where drawings are unavailable or manufacturer support has ended, then manufactured to the captured model.
Overhaul and repair
Strip and inspection, bearing rebabbitting, weld build-up, shaft rectification and reassembly, carried out in the workshop rather than shipped out of the Kingdom.
Inspection and testing
UT, MPI and DPI, positive material identification, hardness checks, dimensional verification and dynamic balancing to ISO 1940, each reported in writing.
