Field services

We carry out repair and maintenance work on your site

Our field teams work on plant that cannot be moved, or where the work must be completed inside a shutdown window. Scope covers planned shutdowns and turnarounds, maintenance contracts, installation and commissioning, and breakdown call-outs. Teams mobilise with the tooling, measuring instruments and testing equipment required to complete the job on site, supported by the machining and manufacturing capacity of our Jubail workshop.

Scope of work

What the field team carries out

Shutdown and turnaround support: Planned scopes executed to the outage schedule, including teardown, inspection, component change-out and reassembly.
On-site overhaul and repair: Portable machining and measurement equipment is brought to site so machines can be worked on where they stand.
Installation and commissioning: New and relocated equipment set on its foundation, aligned, coupled and taken through first run to handover.
Laser alignment: Shaft and coupling alignment measured and recorded before and after correction, with the readings issued at handover.
Vibration analysis and diagnostics: Field measurement to identify the cause of a vibration before parts are changed, with trim balancing on site where the fault allows it.
On-site inspection and NDT: Ultrasonic, magnetic particle and dye penetrant inspection carried out on plant, with written reports.

Site records and reporting

Site work is documented as it is carried out: alignment and vibration readings taken before and after, inspection and NDT reports, the parts replaced, and a handover report covering the scope completed.
